TYLER -- Gloria Jeanne Miellmier, 81, passed away Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014.
Memorial service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sand Springs Baptist Church, Mineola. Graveside service: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Texas Hospice Home Place.
Gloria was born March 3, 1933, in Fort Worth. She was always smiling and loved to laugh. Gloria was a homemaker; a retired employee of Wells Fargo; past president of H.E.B. Chapter of the Association of Children with Learning Disabilities; past treasurer for the State Board of ACLD; a member of St. Philip Presbyterian Church, Hurst, since 1956, where she was a Stephen Minister; a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church, Mineola, since 2007; and a member of the Caring Hearts.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Chester P. and Sylvia J. Moore; two infant sons; her beloved husband, Walter L. Miellmier; and granddaughter, Taylor L. Hardwick.
Survivors: Her beloved dog, Lil Darlin; daughter, Tami Carroll and husband, Charles; son, Tony Miellmier and wife, Pam; grandchildren, Cris Fuller, and Erica and Conner Miellmier; great-granddaughter, Rooke L. Hardwick; sister, Joanne Batcheller; her cousins; and many loving, caring friends.
